….and we have out first three club nights booked!
We are delighted to announce that we have branched out and will be holding our bi-monthly meetings at the William Walker pub in Winchester from 7pm.
Our first takes place on the 10th Jan and we will be welcoming Matt McKay from thedramble.com who will be hosting a tasting of whisky from Bimber Distillery. For those not in the know, Bimber is a relatively new single malt distillery based in west London focussed on producing whisky of the highest quality. While still very young, Bimber have been receiving plaudits from all quarters.
Our second meet is on 13th Mar and Julie Hamilton will be joining us with whisky from Elixir Distillers. While not a distillery, Elixir is the independent bottling arm of The Whisky Exchange and owns the brands Port Askaig, Elements of Islay and Single Malts of Scotland.
Joining us on the 8th May is Roger Smithson from Distell, owners of Bunnahabhain, Tobermory, Deanston and Bains Cape Mountain Whisky. If you are not excited by this one, I think you've come to the wrong club!
Hopefully in the not too distant future, we'll be able to take online bookings. Watch this space so we can keep you updated on this and any other new, exciting developments.
